What is your fitness background?

I used to be a big runner (figuratively and literally), and lifted a few times a week. Prior to that just high school sports. I realized that I wanted more of a challenge and shortly there after I found A1 CrossFit. I haven’t looked back since and have enjoyed every minute and every day at this gym.

What is your favorite WOD?

Murph!! Body weight movements and an endurance tester.

What is your least favorite WOD?

That’s hard to say because I love everything in CrossFit, but any WOD that has thrusters in it would be a least favorite.

How long ago did you get into CrossFit?

I first started doing CrossFit style workouts with bodyweight movements and running, but I officially joined my first box around February 2015.

What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?

This just kicked my @$$, how do I join?

What advice do you have to any newcomers to CrossFit?

Pace yourself! That goes for WODs and overall progress. It’s been well over a year and I’m still learning new things all the time. Don’t give up and keep with it. Give it time and you’ll truly love everything you are able to achieve.
